With several camps to choose from, you’ll find something perfect for each of child.
Our STEAM & Gardening Summer Camp, for ages 3-12, offers hands-on STEM and art projects each week, fostering curiosity and creativity. Each class features a unique STEM activity and art project to take home, alongside gardening lessons from our nature teacher to develop real world skills.

Let your child's imagination soar at our Creative Writing Camp! Designed for budding authors and storytellers, this camp nurtures a love for language through fun, hands-on activities that promote self-expression and creativity. Students will explore different writing styles, build confidence in their unique voice, and collaborate with peers in a calm, encouraging space. Whether they’re writing poetry, short stories, or comics, campers will leave inspired and proud of their work.

Explore the wonders of Colorado Springs alongside your child in this unforgettable week of outdoor adventure and connection. Each day brings a new setting and experience, from stand-up paddle boarding and lake play to mindful creek explorations, homestead life, horsemanship and painting, and even outdoor archery. Designed for caregivers and children to learn and grow together, this camp blends hands-on nature immersion with RME’s signature calm and creative spirit. Discover, bond, and build lasting memories through movement, mindfulness, and the magic of the wild.

Get ready to run, laugh, and play in our Field Day Camp, where movement meets mindfulness! Children will enjoy classic outdoor games and team-building activities that build confidence, coordination, and camaraderie. Each session is designed to honor the Montessori spirit by fostering independence and respectful collaboration, all while having fun in the fresh Colorado air. A great way to stay active and social during the summer months!

At Once Upon a Craft Camp, stories come to life through hands-on art and playful creativity! Each day, children explore a beloved tale and create crafts inspired by the characters and themes. This cozy, story-rich environment supports language development, fine motor skills, and imagination, all in line with RME’s Montessori-inspired approach. A perfect camp for little storytellers who love to build, create, and dream.

Embark on an unforgettable journey at our Hiking Day Camp, where exploration meets fun and learning! Campers will explore local trails, engage in exciting outdoor games, and immerse themselves in nature-inspired educational activities. This camp combines adventure, teamwork, and discovery in the great outdoors. Students need to be able to hike 1 mile each way and carry back pack w/ water and lunch.

At Book & Cook Camp, stories spark the imagination, and the appetite! Each day begins with a beloved children’s book that inspires a hands-on cooking activity. From baking to blending, campers explore recipes connected to the themes or cultures in the story. This camp encourages creativity, literacy, and practical life skills in a joyful, collaborative setting. Children will gain confidence in the kitchen while engaging their senses, deepening their love of literature, and learning to make meaningful connections between stories and real-life experiences.

Where numbers meet creativity, magic happens! In Math & Art Camp, students explore mathematical concepts through hands-on, visually engaging art projects. Patterns, symmetry, geometry, measurement, and spatial reasoning come to life through painting, building, drawing, and crafting. Campers are encouraged to see the beauty of math in the world around them, blending logic and creativity in a Montessori-inspired environment that honors curiosity, independence, and joyful discovery.
At Poetry Camp, words become art and expression becomes empowerment. This camp invites students to explore the rhythms, sounds, and structures of poetry through creative writing, performance, and reflective discussion. Campers will read a variety of poetic styles, experiment with their own voice, and gain confidence in self-expression, all in a calm, supportive environment that honors individuality and curiosity. Whether they’re new to poetry or already writing verses, each child will leave feeling inspired and proud of their unique voice.
