Hear what parents say about our Montessori-inspired program at Rocky Mountain Enrichment!
Such a great, well oriented, organized enrichment. Mrs. Ali is amazing and put together a great program. My child loved Rocky Mountain enrichment this year, always had such a well rounded day.
Our kids were here for about a year, they got bullied and the solution was for us to adjust our schedule to avoid the bully. Bully gets to keep doing their thing and if they are the kid of a teacher or a former teacher good luck because they get preference! We already found a new place with policies that will kick the bully out of the program instead of tip-toeing around the issue.
We used to LOVE RME and I was so thankful to have found what I thought was the perfect enrichment for our kiddos. This changed when my kids started getting bullied. My oldest was bullied by an older kid. My son starting saying he was hoping said bully wasn't there that day, or he would say that his stomach hurt so he didn't have to go.. he only went once a week, so that was impractical. My kid and this bully had an incident towards the end of the school year. I was told about it by a teacher who witnessed it, but I'm not sure that the bully's parents were notified. As far as I know, his parents were never notified about any of his behavior towards my son. The "solution" was for *us* to change the day we attend, not the other way around. The bully gets to remain comfortable. My youngest was in their preschool, and it seemed fine. I did notice at the beginning of the year that one of the teacher's kids was aggressive (now former teacher but still the owner's best friend) but I let the teachers handle it. Fast forward to summer. We had summer camp and said aggressive kid kept picking on my daughter, more on each progressive day. Of course, the mother never witnessed it. He hurt my daughter physically to cut her in line, that was my last straw. The owner told me she understood and would handle it. Days later, I wanted to talk to her because we had already dealt with the bullying with my son. I only got HR lip service and that they are going to "implement policies next school year." What about doing something now? Do I teach my kids to hit back? My suspicion is that it wasn't dealt with because the kid' mother is best friends with the owner. With the program growing this year, I knew we would be in for more trouble, so I made the decision to leave and find a program who actually deals with bullies appropriately. The elementary program, from what I saw, is a sort of free for all and the teachers don't actively watch the children at all times. So many things happen the teachers don't catch. If you're a teacher's kid, you get preference. If you're a teacher's or the owner's friend, you get extra preference. I heard of a kid spitting in the face of another kid, and the teachers didn't even know. I really hope that these supposed "policies" will be implemented in the coming years of this program for the sake of the kids. But I don't see that happening when you're growing and you can't even manage the kids you had last year.
Our family has had a truly wonderful experience with Rocky Mountain Enrichment’s homeschool enrichment program. My fourth-grade daughter attends, and from the very beginning she has felt genuinely welcomed, included, and valued. One thing that has stood out most to us is the care and intentionality of the directors and staff. My daughter and another child in the program are both gluten-free, and the team has gone above and beyond to ensure they are always safe and fully included—especially during cooking and food-related activities. That level of thoughtfulness means so much to us as parents and has helped my daughter feel confident and secure rather than “different.” The program itself is impressive. The learning is engaging and well-rounded, blending academics with hands-on experiences like cooking, arts and crafts, and creative projects. I love how they incorporate real-life skills alongside play and learning—it feels purposeful, joyful, and developmentally thoughtful. My daughter comes home excited about what she’s learned and eager to share her experiences. Rocky Mountain Enrichment has created a warm, inclusive community where kids can learn, grow, and have fun while feeling safe and supported. We are incredibly grateful for this program and highly recommend it to other homeschool families looking for a place where their children will truly thrive.
Our experience with both of our kiddos at RME has been FANTASTIC! Such a fun group of parents and kids and plenty of field trip and family connection days to keep us busy! We highly recommend giving them a shot at being your homeschool co-op!
Great community. Teachers genuinely care about the kids they are teaching and meet them where they are. Monthly family meet ups provide more opportunity for my kids to maintain friendships.
My son has attended RME for 2 years now, last year in elementary and this year in the new middle school program. He has gained so many new skills over the 2 years. This year moving into the new middle school program he has gained confidence in cooking, conflict resolution and peer relationships. Every week he tells me something new he has learned while at enrichment. The teachers genuinely care about every individual kiddo and work to meet them where they are at educationally and on a personal level.
So far so good. We are new to RME. I enrolled my 2 kids to have social time and build a community. The classes are once a week. On my kids first day they fell in love with the program. We are looking foward to feild trips and summer programs. I love that I have the option as a parent to stay all day or drop them off. I would recommend Rocky Mountain Enrichment.
My experience with Rocky Mountain Enrichment (RME) exceeded my expectations. I was hoping to find a place to send my daughters on Thursday’s that would help them make friends. I did not realize we would be joining so many other families on field trips through out the year. I ended up making some friends myself which was a fun unexpected surprise. This is a fantastic program with opportunities every month. I highly recommend this group. It can be more than a day a week, it can become quality family fun!
We have had the best experience with Rocky Mountain Enrichment. The staff is amazing and truly cares about their students and their families. My son is always so excited to go because his teachers always have great, hands-on learning opportunities set up!
