With an extensive background in child care and early childhood education, I bring both professional knowledge and personal experience to my role in the homeschool community. As part of the administrative team and a substitute teacher, I’m honored to support families in navigating the exciting and evolving world of homeschool education. I believe deeply in the power of individualized learning and love seeing children thrive when given the space to grow at their own pace. Whether I’m stepping into the classroom or helping behind the scenes, my goal is always to support families and help children feel seen, supported, and excited about learning.

Ms. Xochitl Silverman brings over 25 years of hands-on administrative expertise to Rocky Mountain Enrichment. I've raised a beautiful daughter who has blessed me with two granddaughters that I love to spend time with. I have a background in early childhood education thru the state of Colorado as a home childcare provider for many enjoyable and rewarding years. We still keep in touch and I love hearing from them on their adventures in life. I prided myself in making my home their 2nd home. For Ten of those years, I was also an El paso county 4H leader in the horse program. I enjoy interacting with children and helping them grow to be all they can be. I'm excited to be a part of RME and cant wait to meet all the children and make new friends.

Hi, my name is Erica. I’ve lived in Colorado Springs for 15 years. We moved from Houston, Texas, to Ft. Carson, our first and only duty station. We fell in love with the mountains and decided to stay. We have three children — Ayden, Mavis, and Maren — and we’ve been homeschooling for three years. As a family, we love nature and animals. We have 16 pets! I’ve worked with children most of my life — starting as a babysitter at 9 years old, then working in nurseries, after-school programs, coaching gymnastics and dance, and later I became a substitute teacher for three years. I’ve also volunteered at a horse therapy center, the Boys & Girls Club of America, and have spent the last three years as a Girl Scout leader and cookie mom. I truly enjoy guiding children in kindness and learning alongside them, helping them grow through curiosity and connection.
